Rename SIM Card auf Huawei
Huawei phones display the carrier name for each inserted SIM by default. On a dual-SIM device this makes both entries look almost identical, especially if both SIMs belong to the same network operator.
EMUI lets you replace that default label with a name of your choice. This is useful if you keep separate SIMs for work and personal use, or if you swap SIM cards often and want to remember which slot holds which number.
The setting lives in the mobile network menu, not in the general display settings, since it is tied to SIM management rather than app appearance.
Menu path
Open the settings ➔ Tap on Mobile network ➔ Tap on SIM management ➔ Tap on Edit ➔ Type in a name and confirm with OK
The new name appears wherever the SIM is referenced, including the status bar and the dual-SIM call selection screen. It does not change how the network identifies your device, so calls, texts, and mobile data keep working exactly as before.
If you later switch carriers or swap the physical SIM, the custom name stays until you edit it again through the same menu.
