Reset Network Settings auf Huawei
Persistent WLAN drops, mobile data that will not reconnect after switching towers, or Bluetooth devices that keep failing to pair often point to a corrupted network profile rather than a hardware fault. EMUI stores WLAN passwords, APN configurations and Bluetooth pairing data separately from the rest of your settings, and any of these can get stuck without a clear error message.
Resetting network settings clears all of it at once: WLAN networks and passwords, mobile data and APN entries, and every paired Bluetooth device. It does not touch photos, apps or accounts, but you will need to rejoin WLAN networks and re-pair Bluetooth accessories afterwards.
To trigger the reset: Open the settings ➔ Tap on System & updates ➔ Tap on Reset ➔ Tap on Reset network settings ➔ Tap on Reset network settings ➔ Type in your PIN ➔ Confirm with Reset network settings.
On Dual SIM devices, EMUI lets you choose which SIM card the reset applies to before you confirm, so the other SIM keeps its current network setup.
Skip this reset if only one specific app has connection issues; check that app's own network permissions first. Use the full reset when several connection types (WLAN, data, Bluetooth) misbehave at the same time.
