Resize the On-Screen Keyboard auf Huawei
The SwiftKey Keyboard on Huawei phones starts with one fixed layout that is sized for an average hand reach. On larger screens this leaves unused space at the edges, on smaller screens the keys sit too close together and cause typos.
The Resize option inside the keyboard settings solves this by letting you drag the keyboard borders and reposition the whole layout on the screen. It does not touch autocorrect or text prediction, so if your typing errors come from wrong suggestions rather than key spacing, check the correction settings instead.
To reach the option, go to Open the settings ➔ Tap on System & updates ➔ Tap on Language & input ➔ Tap on SwiftKey Keyboard ➔ Tap on Typing ➔ Tap on Resize.
Once the resize frame appears, use Pull the horizontal borders up or down to change the height and Pull the vertical borders to the left or right to change the width. With Tap and hold the keyboard to position it freely you can move the whole layout, for example toward the center or one side of the screen for one-handed use. Confirm with Confirm with OK to save the new size and position.
Pulling the borders too far can push keys off-screen or make swipe typing less accurate, so small adjustments usually work better than extreme sizes.
