Enable or Disable Auto-Rotate Screen auf Huawei
Auto-rotate decides whether your Huawei screen content follows the physical orientation of the device. Tilt the phone on its side and the display should flip from portrait to landscape on its own. This function lives in the quick settings panel, not buried in a deep settings menu.
If nothing happens when you turn the phone, the toggle is most likely switched off. It can also get disabled by accident while swiping through quick settings, or after a system update reset some toggles to default.
Some apps ignore the system-wide sensor and force a fixed orientation on purpose, mostly games or camera apps. If only one app refuses to rotate while everything else works fine, the issue sits with that app, not with your system setting.
To check or change the toggle: Swipe with two fingers to open the quick settings ➔ Enable or disable Auto-rotate.
Turning Auto-rotate on again means the screen will flip whenever you change the phone's angle, including situations you may not want, such as lying down and reading in bed. If that becomes annoying, switching it back off keeps the screen fixed in portrait until you need landscape mode for video or browsing.
