Set Screen Resolution Manually auf Huawei
Huawei phones ship with Smart resolution turned on by default. This feature automatically lowers the display resolution to cut power draw, which can leave photos, videos, and text looking softer than expected on a sharp panel.
If you prefer a crisper image over squeezing out extra battery life, you can override this and pick a fixed resolution yourself. Go to Open the settings ➔ Tap on Display & brightness ➔ Tap on Screen resolution ➔ Activate or deactivate Smart resolution, or choose HD+/FHD+.
FHD+ gives you a sharper picture but drains the battery faster, especially during long video playback or gaming sessions. HD+ trades a bit of sharpness for noticeably better battery life, which matters if you are away from a charger for most of the day.
If your battery drains quickly no matter which resolution is active, check background app usage before blaming the display setting alone. Resolution mainly affects visual sharpness and power draw, not general app performance.
