Hide or Show Caller-ID auf Huawei
By default, your Huawei phone transmits your number using whatever setting your mobile carrier has stored on the SIM card. This is why the caller-ID option often looks untouched even if you never changed anything yourself - the network default is doing the work.
You can override this behavior directly on the device. Open Open the Phone App ➔ Open the menu ➔ Open the settings ➔ Tap on More ➔ Tap on Caller-ID. From there, choose between Network default, Hide number or Show number.
Network default simply falls back to whatever your carrier normally does. Hide number forces every outgoing call to show as unknown or private, regardless of carrier settings. Show number forces your number to display, even if your carrier would otherwise suppress it.
This setting is written to your SIM card, not to a general device profile. If you use dual SIM, each SIM has its own independent caller-ID setting, so check both slots if the behavior looks inconsistent between your two lines.
Some carriers lock this option or ignore the device-side setting entirely. If changing it in the Phone app has no visible effect, the restriction sits on the network side and needs to be adjusted with your provider.
