Set Phone Ringtone auf Huawei
On Huawei phones running EMUI, the phone ringtone is stored separately from notification and alarm sounds. It only controls what plays on an incoming voice or video call through the Phone app, not messages or third-party apps.
On dual SIM devices, EMUI keeps one ringtone slot for SIM1 and a second one for SIM2. If you only change the tone for one slot, the other line keeps playing whatever was set before, which is why calls can sound inconsistent between numbers.
To change it, go to Open the settings ➔ Tap on Sounds & vibration ➔ Tap on Phone ringtone. Then Choose SIM1 or SIM2 and Choose a ringtone from the list for that slot.
If an app like WhatsApp or a video calling service still plays its own sound instead of your chosen ringtone, that app is using an internal notification sound rather than the system phone ringtone. In that case, check the sound settings inside the app itself instead of the system menu.
