Share Wi-Fi Password via QR Code auf Huawei
Huawei phones running EMUI can convert an active Wi-Fi connection into a QR code. Any device with a camera or QR scanner reads the code and joins the network without the password being typed out.
This only works for networks the phone is currently connected to. A saved but inactive network cannot generate a code, since EMUI needs the live connection details to build it.
To create the code, open Open the settings ➔ Tap on Wi-Fi ➔ Tap on the connected Wi-Fi. The network details screen shows a QR code generated from the current password and network name.
Hand the phone to the other person, or let them point their camera at the screen. They select Scan the QR-Code with the other device on their end, and the connection is set up automatically once the code is recognized.
If the other device has no camera or scanner app, sharing the password manually or through a messaging app remains the faster option. The QR method mainly helps when several guests need access at once, since each of them can scan the same screen.
