Enable Simple Mode auf Huawei
Simple mode on a Huawei phone reorganizes the home screen into large, clearly labeled icons and removes secondary functions from view. Text size increases across menus, and navigation is reduced to fewer taps, which makes the phone easier to use for people who find the standard EMUI layout overwhelming.
The setting lives inside the system menu rather than the home screen settings, so it is easy to miss on first use.
How to enable Simple mode
Open Open the settings ➔ Tap on System & updates ➔ Tap on Simple mode ➔ Tap on Enable.
The phone switches layout immediately. Apps rearrange into a grid with bigger icons, and system font size increases automatically.
To turn it off again, return to the same Simple mode screen and disable it from there. The phone reverts to the standard EMUI layout and previous font size without any data loss.
Simple mode is best suited for users who mainly use calls, messaging and a handful of apps. If you rely on multitasking features, split screen, or frequent app switching, the standard layout stays more practical since Simple mode hides some of those shortcuts to keep the screen uncluttered.
