Enable or Disable Smart Lock auf Huawei
Smart Lock, listed as Smart Unlock on Huawei phones, keeps the device unlocked as long as it detects a trusted signal. That signal can be motion in your pocket, a known Wi-Fi network at home, or a paired Bluetooth device like your car or smartwatch. If none of these signals match, the phone falls back to the regular lock screen.
Where to find Smart Lock
Open the path below to reach the setting:
Open the settings ➔ Tap on Biometrics & passwords ➔ Tap on Smart Lock ➔ Type in your PIN ➔ Choose between On-body detection, Trusted places or Trusted devices and follow the instructions on the display.
On-body detection keeps the phone unlocked while it senses continuous motion, so it locks again once you put it down. Trusted places uses your saved home or work address and needs location access turned on to work reliably. Trusted devices unlocks automatically while paired with a specific Bluetooth accessory, useful for a smartwatch or car system.
Turn Smart Lock off entirely if you share the phone with someone else or if you notice it staying unlocked in places it should not. For higher security in public, disable On-body detection and rely on the standard lock screen instead.
