Delay a Notification Temporarily auf Huawei
Swiping a notification away on Huawei phones usually clears it from the panel for good, even if you only wanted a few minutes of quiet. The Delay function works differently: it hides the alert temporarily and brings it back once the time you picked has passed, so nothing gets lost.
This helps when a message interrupts a call, a meeting, or a game, but you still want to check it later. Delay applies to that single notification and app only, so everything else keeps coming in as usual. It is not the same as a system-wide Do Not Disturb mode, which mutes all apps at once.
How to delay a notification
Swipe down to open the notification panel, then swipe the notification you want to postpone to the left. Tap Open the Settings, then tap Delay. Choose Delay by 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or Delay by 1 hour, and confirm with OK.
Once the time runs out, the notification reappears in the panel as if it had just arrived. If you swipe it away again before then, it disappears for good, so pick a delay you can actually revisit.
