Change Themes auf Huawei
Huawei phones running EMUI store home screen appearance in one dedicated app instead of spreading the options across separate wallpaper, icon and lock screen menus. This is why a preinstalled theme changes fonts, icon shapes and lock screen art all at once, and why picking a wallpaper from the gallery alone leaves your icons untouched. If your icons still look default after a wallpaper change, you are working in the wrong menu.
To reach the correct screen, open Settings ➔ Home screen & wallpaper ➔ Themes and follow the steps shown on the display. From there you can apply a full preinstalled theme, or open individual categories to swap only the icon pack, lock screen or font while keeping your current wallpaper.
Downloaded or custom themes appear in the same menu once installed, so this is also where you remove a theme that changed more than expected. Switching back to the original look works the same way: reopen the menu and select the default theme.
Use this menu instead of a third-party launcher if you want changes that survive a system update. Icon packs applied through separate apps can reset after larger updates, while themes applied here stay tied to your Huawei account and return after a restore.
