Enable or Disable Three-Finger Screenshot auf Huawei
The three-finger screenshot on Huawei phones is part of the gesture controls inside Motion control. Once active, swiping down the screen with three fingers triggers an instant screenshot, without needing the power and volume buttons.
Some users experience the opposite problem: the gesture fires by accident while reading, scrolling social feeds, or playing games with multi-touch controls. In that case, turning the feature off stops the unwanted captures immediately.
Where to find the setting
Go to Open the settings ➔ Tap on Accessibility feature ➔ Tap on Motion control ➔ Tap on Three-finger screenshot ➔ Activate or deactivate Three-finger screenshot.
Toggling this switch on enables the swipe-down gesture across almost every app and home screen. Toggling it off removes the gesture entirely, and screenshots then only work through the standard button combination.
If the swipe still does not register after activation, check that no screen protector or case is interfering with multi-touch input near the top edge. Apps that block screen capture for security reasons will still prevent a screenshot regardless of this setting.
