Enable or Disable Twin Apps auf Huawei
Twin Apps lets EMUI run a second, fully separate copy of certain apps on the same phone. Each copy keeps its own login, cache and notifications, so you can stay signed into two accounts of the same messenger or social app at once without constantly logging out.
The feature only appears for apps that support account switching internally, such as social and messaging apps. System apps and most third-party apps that don't use account-based logins won't show up in the list, even though they are installed.
How to turn it on or off
Open Settings ➔ Apps ➔ App Twin. You'll see a list of every app on your device that supports the feature. Tap the toggle next to an app to activate its twin copy, or tap it again to deactivate an existing twin.
Once activated, a second app icon appears on your home screen, usually marked with a small overlay so you can tell the copies apart. Deactivating a twin removes that second icon, and any data tied only to that copy is lost, so back up anything important in that account before switching it off.
If an app you rely on doesn't appear under App Twin, it simply doesn't support dual instances in EMUI. In that case, a separate work profile or a second user account is the closer alternative, though neither behaves exactly like Twin Apps.
