Unlock App Lock with Fingerprint auf Huawei
App Lock on Huawei phones protects individual apps with a separate PIN, pattern, or password, independent of your screen lock. By default it always asks for that password, even if you already unlocked your phone with a fingerprint.
Fingerprint access for App Lock is a switch inside Fingerprint management. Once enabled, a registered fingerprint can open protected apps directly, without typing the password each time.
To reach the setting: Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Biometrics & password ➔ Tap on Fingerprint ID ➔ Tap on Fingerprint management ➔ Enable or disable Access App Lock.
You need at least one fingerprint already registered under Fingerprint ID before this option becomes usable. If no fingerprint is stored, the switch stays inactive or is missing.
Turning this off again forces every protected app back to password-only unlocking. That is useful if you share the phone temporarily or want a stricter barrier than a fingerprint alone provides.
Fingerprint unlock for apps is convenient but relies on the same sensor accuracy as your lock screen. If the sensor misreads often, keep the App Lock password as a fallback rather than disabling it.
