Vibrate in Silent Mode Toggle auf Huawei
On a Huawei phone, vibration behavior in silent mode is controlled by its own setting inside EMUI, separate from the general ringer volume. That is why muting the phone from the quick panel does not automatically decide whether it still buzzes for calls and notifications.
If Vibrate in silent mode is turned on, the device keeps vibrating for incoming calls and alerts even while the ringer is muted. If it's off, the phone gives no physical feedback at all when silent, which can lead to missed calls if you don't check the screen.
To change it, follow this path:
Open the settings ➔ Tap on Sounds & Vibration ➔ Activate or deactivate Vibrate in silent mode
Turn the option on if you often keep the phone in a pocket or bag and rely on touch feedback for calls. Turn it off if the phone usually sits on a desk or nightstand and any vibration noise is distracting.
If the phone stays silent even with this option enabled, check whether a Do Not Disturb or Focus mode profile is active, since those can override individual sound and vibration settings.
