Turn Vibration on Navigation Keys On or Off auf Huawei
Huawei phones running EMUI enable haptic feedback for the on-screen navigation keys by default. Every tap on Back, Home, or Recents triggers a short vibration pulse, which is meant to confirm the touch without needing to look at the screen.
This feedback is controlled by a single toggle inside the sound settings, separate from ringtone or notification vibration. Turning it off stops the buzz for navigation and other on-screen touch elements, while calls and alerts keep vibrating normally.
Where the setting lives
Open Settings ➔ Sounds & vibration ➔ More sound settings, then enable or disable Vibrate on touch. The change applies immediately, no restart needed.
If you only want quieter feedback rather than none at all, leave it enabled and instead lower the overall vibration intensity in the same sound settings menu. That keeps subtle confirmation on the keys without the stronger buzz.
Disabling this option has no effect on battery life worth measuring, since touch haptics use very little power. It also does not change vibration for calls, alarms, or app notifications, since those are governed by different settings further up in the same menu.
