Voice Broadcast for Incoming Calls auf Huawei
Voice broadcast announces caller information out loud whenever a call comes in. Because it plays through the same audio channel as your ringtone, it takes priority over any custom tone you assigned to a contact, including when a headset is connected.
This is why calls sound identical to every caller once the feature is active: the phone plays the system announcement instead of your chosen ringtone. Turning it off restores individual contact ringtones on both the speaker and a connected headset.
To change the setting, open Phone, tap the menu icon, go to Settings, open Voice control, then activate or deactivate Voice broadcast incoming calls.
Keep the feature enabled if you rely on spoken caller announcements, for example while driving or when the screen is out of reach. Disable it if custom ringtones matter more than hearing the caller name read aloud, especially with headsets where the announcement can be confusing mid-call.
