Ringtone Volume Settings auf Huawei
The ringtone volume on Huawei phones is controlled independently from media, alarm, and call volume. This separation lets you keep music or video volume high while keeping incoming calls quieter, or the other way around.
Notification sounds for SMS and messaging apps like WhatsApp also follow this ringtone volume slider, not the media volume. If notifications feel too quiet or too loud, this setting is usually the cause, not an app-specific sound setting.
To adjust it, open Settings ➔ Sounds & vibration and swipe left or right on the ringtone volume slider to set the level you want.
If you still don't hear a ringtone at all after adjusting this slider, check whether Do Not Disturb or a Focus mode is active, since these can mute ringtones regardless of the volume level set here.
