Home Screen Wipe Effects auf Huawei
On Huawei phones running EMUI, the animation that plays when you swipe between home screens is called a transition. By default it uses the Standard effect, a simple left-right slide that gives no visual feedback beyond moving the screen sideways.
This setting only changes how the swipe looks. It does not reorder your home screens, move app icons, or affect widgets. Some users switch it because the default feels flat, especially on phones with several home screens where the same slide repeats constantly.
To change it, use this path:
Tap and hold an empty space on home screen ➤ Tap on Transitions ➤ Swipe to browse the transitions ➤ Choose a transition or wipe effect
Huawei offers several transition styles beyond Standard, including Perspective, Squeeze, and Box, each animating the screen swap differently. Swipe through the preview options before confirming, since the thumbnail only hints at the full motion.
The chosen transition applies to every home screen swipe on the device, not to individual screens. If the Transitions option is missing from the long-press menu, your home screen layout or launcher version may not support it.
