Enable or Disable Accessibility Menu auf OnePlus
The Accessibility Menu adds a floating or navigation-bar button that opens an enlarged panel with shortcuts for Assistant, power controls, volume, screenshots and recent apps. This panel runs as its own accessibility service inside Oxygenos, so it stays off by default until you grant it explicit permission.
Without that permission, the extra button never shows up, even if other accessibility features are already active. The system treats the menu as a separate service that needs its own confirmation dialog, which is why flipping the toggle alone is not enough.
To turn it on or off:
Open the Settings ➔ Tap on System ➔ Tap on Accessibility ➔ Tap on Accessibility Menu ➔ Enable or disable Accessibility Menu ➔ Tap on Allow ➔ Confirm with Got it
Disabling the menu removes the button immediately and drops any shortcuts assigned to it, while screen reader, magnification and color settings under Accessibility stay untouched.
If you only need one shortcut, such as quick volume access, a dedicated gesture or button mapping is often a lighter option than keeping the full panel active, since the Accessibility Menu adds a persistent icon that can feel cramped on smaller screens.
