Add Contact to Favourites auf OnePlus
Calling or texting the same contact several times a day usually means opening the Contacts app and scrolling past dozens of names to find the right one. OxygenOS lets you pin frequently used contacts to a dedicated Favourites section, so the entry shows up right at the top instead of buried in the alphabetical list.
To mark a contact, go to Open the Contacts app ➔ Choose a contact ➔ Tap on Favourite. A star icon appears next to the name once the contact is saved as a favourite, and tapping it again removes the contact from that list.
Favourites work independently from speed dial or home screen shortcuts. Marking someone as a favourite only changes where they appear inside the Contacts app; it does not create a widget or alter call settings.
If you want a shortcut directly on your home screen instead of inside the Contacts app, a contact widget or direct dial shortcut is the better option. Use favourites when you regularly search for the same handful of people inside the Contacts or Phone app and want them grouped together at the top.
