Add a New Tab in Chrome auf OnePlus
When you research prices across several online shops, closing and reopening pages wastes time and often loses your place. Chrome on OnePlus phones lets you keep multiple pages open at once through separate tabs, so each site stays loaded and ready in the background.
The tab overview is the central control point. It shows a small counter on the toolbar indicating how many tabs are currently open, and tapping it reveals thumbnails of every active page.
How to add a new tab
Open the Chrome app ➔ tap on Tabs ➔ tap on Add. A blank page or your default start screen appears immediately, while the previous tab stays exactly where you left it.
This works the same way whether you are logged into an account or browsing without one. The only limitation is device memory: on older or heavily loaded devices, having a very large number of tabs open can slow page reloading, since Chrome may unload background tabs to save RAM.
If you only need a page temporarily and don't want it saved in your browsing history, an Incognito tab is the better option instead of a regular new tab.
