Add Users from Lock Screen (Enable/Disable) auf OnePlus
The Add users from lock screen option belongs to the Multiple users feature on OnePlus phones. When it is active, the quick settings panel on the lock screen shows a Users shortcut that lets anyone create a brand new profile without entering your PIN, pattern, or password.
This is convenient if you hand your phone to family members often and want them to get their own space fast. It becomes a risk if you carry sensitive apps or accounts, since a new profile bypasses your lock screen protection entirely and gives whoever created it a fresh, unrestricted OnePlus environment.
To change it, open Settings ➔ System ➔ Multiple users and enable or disable Add users from lock screen.
Disabling the toggle does not delete any existing user profiles. It only removes the option to add new ones from the lock screen, so switching between accounts you already set up still works the same way.
If you share the phone with people you trust and rarely worry about lock screen access, leaving it enabled saves a few taps. If the phone travels outside your household or sits in shared spaces, disabling it closes an easy way around your screen lock.
