Enable or Disable Airplane Mode auf OnePlus
Airplane mode is a system-level switch in OxygenOS that shuts down mobile data, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth at the same time. It exists because flights and some other transit environments do not allow active radio transmissions from personal devices.
Once enabled, your OnePlus phone stops registering with cell towers and drops any active Wi-Fi or Bluetooth link. Calls, texts and background data sync pause until you switch the mode off again.
To reach the toggle, open Settings ➔ Wi-Fi & Network and switch Airplane mode on or off.
If you only want to stop mobile data while keeping Wi-Fi or Bluetooth active, use the dedicated mobile data toggle instead. Airplane mode is the wrong tool for that, since it disconnects everything at once.
While airplane mode is on, downloads stop, messages queue instead of sending, and background app updates pause. None of this affects locally stored data or apps that do not need a network connection.
