Enable or Disable the App Drawer auf OnePlus
The app drawer setting on OnePlus phones decides where your installed apps live. With Home screen and Drawer selected, new apps land in a separate list you open by swiping up on an empty spot on the home screen, while your home screens stay clean and show only the shortcuts you placed there yourself. Switch to Home screen only and every app icon appears directly on your home screens instead, with no drawer to swipe into.
Both modes affect how new apps are placed after installation and how crowded your home screens get over time. If you rearrange folders and widgets a lot, the drawer view keeps screens tidier because new installs never clutter them automatically. If you prefer a single overview without swiping between panels, home screen only mode fits better, though you will need more screens or folders as your app count grows.
To change the setting:
Tap and hold a free area on home screen ➔ Tap on Home settings ➔ Tap on Launcher layout ➔ Choose Home screen only or Home screen and Drawer ➔ Tap on Save
The change applies right after saving, and your existing app icons rearrange themselves according to the mode you picked.
