Clear App Cache auf OnePlus
Apps on OxygenOS store temporary files to load faster and remember your last actions. Over time these cache files can overlap or become corrupted, which shows up as crashes, frozen screens, or content that will not update.
Clearing the cache removes only this temporary data. Your login, saved settings, and personal files inside the app stay untouched, which makes this fix safe to try before reinstalling anything.
How to clear the cache
Go to Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Apps & notifications ➔ Tap on See all apps ➔ Choose an app ➔ Tap on Storage & cache ➔ Tap on Clear cache.
Restart the app afterward and check if the issue is gone. If the same problem returns right away, the cause is likely not the cache but a corrupted app setting or an outdated app version.
In that case, clearing the app data or updating the app through the store usually helps more than repeating the cache clear. Keep in mind that clearing data (as opposed to cache) will log you out and reset in-app preferences, so use that step only if clearing the cache alone does not solve the problem.
