Close All Browser Tabs at Once auf OnePlus
The Chrome app keeps every tab you open running in the background, even ones you forgot about. On a OnePlus phone this can build up quickly if you tend to open links in new tabs instead of replacing the current page. The result is a browser that feels sluggish and a tab switcher that takes longer to scroll through than it should.
Closing tabs one by one works, but it is slow once you pass ten or more open pages. The Chrome app includes a dedicated option to clear everything in a single tap instead of repeating the same swipe or close action over and over.
Menu path
Open the Chrome app ➔ Tap on Tabs ➔ Open the menu ➔ Tap on Close all tabs
This removes every open tab immediately. It does not clear your browsing history or saved passwords, only the currently open pages in the tab switcher.
If you only want to get rid of a single page, swipe that tab away or tap its individual close icon instead of using the Close all tabs option. Use the full clear only when you actually want a fresh start.
