Show Network Speed in Status Bar auf OnePlus
OxygenOS can show your current download and upload speed directly in the status bar, but this display is turned off by default on most OnePlus phones. The feature relies on a system toggle inside the display settings rather than a separate app, so it works for any connection type, Wi-Fi or mobile data, without extra configuration.
To turn it on, open Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Display ➔ Tap on Status bar ➔ Enable or disable Display network speed. Once enabled, a small speed value appears next to the signal icon whenever data is actively transferring, and it disappears again when the connection is idle.
This readout is a live estimate, not an average, so numbers jump around during short bursts of activity like loading a page or syncing a photo. If you need a reliable measurement of your connection quality over time, a dedicated speed test app is a better fit than the status bar indicator.
Showing the speed constantly does not noticeably affect battery life, since the value is pulled from data OxygenOS already tracks for network usage. If the option is missing from your Status bar menu, check for pending system updates, since some regional builds roll out display settings gradually.
