Disable Developer Options auf OnePlus
Developer options on OnePlus phones sit in a hidden menu that only appears after you tap the build number several times. Once unlocked, the entry stays visible in Settings ➔ System until you switch it off manually.
The menu itself is just a toggle screen. Turning it off does not roll back every individual switch inside it, such as USB debugging or the animation scale, but it hides the whole section again and stops the phone from treating you as an active developer.
To disable it, go to Open the Settings ➔ Tap on System ➔ Tap on Developer options ➔ Disable the developer options ➔ Tap on Back. The switch at the top of that screen controls the entire menu, so one tap is enough.
Keep developer options enabled if you regularly use USB debugging for app testing or need to adjust animation speeds. For everyday use, disabling the menu reduces the risk of accidentally changing a system setting and removes the debugging prompt some banking or security apps check for.
