Edit Quick Responses in the Phone App auf OnePlus
When you decline an incoming call on a OnePlus phone, the system offers a short list of preset text messages to send instead. These quick responses live inside the Phone app and rarely match your own tone or the context of a specific caller.
The list is limited to a fixed number of entries, and OxygenOS lets you rewrite each one rather than add new slots. Editing them replaces the generic wording with phrases you would actually send, such as a reference to a meeting or a short personal note.
To update a quick response, open Open the Phone app ➔ Open the menu ➔ Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Quick responses. From there, Choose a quick response you want to change, then Enter a quick response with your own text and Tap on Save to store it.
Changes apply right away and are used the next time you reject a call with a message. This only affects the SMS-based decline reply; it does not change ringtone behavior or call forwarding settings.
If a caller does not get the message, check that SMS is enabled on your line and that the recipient has signal, since quick responses go out as regular text messages rather than through a separate messaging service.
