Add Emergency Information to Lock Screen auf OnePlus
Emergency information on a OnePlus phone lets first responders read critical medical details directly from the lock screen, without entering a PIN or password.
This includes blood type, allergies, medication, and emergency contacts. The feature sits inside the Security section of OxygenOS and stays separate from your regular lock screen notifications, so it does not expose other personal data.
Where to set it up
Open Settings ➔ Security & lock screen ➔ Emergency rescue ➔ Edit emergency information and contacts. From there, Choose a category and add the medical information you want visible.
Each category can be filled in separately, so you can add only what feels relevant, for example a chronic condition or a single emergency contact.
Once saved, the information appears through the emergency call screen on the lock screen, reachable without unlocking the phone. This only makes sense if you are comfortable with that data being visible to anyone holding the device, including in a lost-phone scenario.
If you prefer to keep medical details private and only share emergency contacts, you can leave the medical categories empty and fill in contacts only.
