Enable Fingerprint Unlock auf OnePlus
OnePlus phones with a fingerprint sensor can skip the PIN, pattern or password screen entirely once a fingerprint is enrolled. The sensor compares a scanned finger against the stored fingerprint data and unlocks the device only on a match.
To set it up, open Settings ➔ tap on Security & lock screen ➔ tap on Fingerprint Unlock. You will be asked to enter your current pattern, PIN or password first, since this backup method stays active as a fallback. After that, tap Next and follow the on-screen instructions to scan your finger from different angles.
Once enrollment finishes, the fingerprint can unlock the phone from the lock screen and confirm identity for supported apps and payment services. This is faster than typing a code, but it relies on a clean, dry sensor and finger.
If your finger is wet, greasy or covered by a screen protector edge, recognition can fail and fall back to the PIN or pattern. In that case, re-registering the fingerprint or adding a second one for the same finger under slightly different angles usually improves detection.
