Can I filter by outgoing calls only?

The Phone app's call history filter on OnePlus only offers All or Missed. There is no separate filter for outgoing calls only.

Does the missed calls filter stay active after I close the app?

On most OxygenOS versions the filter setting is remembered the next time you open Call history, so you don't have to reselect Missed every time.

Why do some missed calls not appear even with the filter on?

If a missed call was cleared or the entire call history was deleted, it won't reappear under any filter. The filter only sorts existing entries, it does not recover removed ones.

The OnePlus Phone app logs every call type in one continuous list: incoming, outgoing, and missed. When you only want to check who called and didn't leave a voicemail, that mixed view slows you down, especially after a busy day with dozens of entries.

OxygenOS includes a built-in filter inside the call history screen that removes everything except missed calls. This is useful when you need a phone number from a missed call without scrolling past answered or dialed entries.

How to switch the filter

Open the Phone app ➔ Open the menu ➔ Tap on Call history ➔ Choose All or Missed.

Selecting Missed hides every answered or outgoing call and keeps only the calls you did not pick up. Selecting All restores the full log.

This filter only changes what is displayed. No entries get deleted, and switching back to All brings everything back instantly.

If you need call duration or contact details rather than just missed numbers, keep the filter on All and use the search function inside the call history screen instead.
