Flip to Silence for Incoming Calls auf OnePlus
Flip to Silence relies on the OnePlus motion sensor to detect when the phone is turned face-down while it is ringing.
On OxygenOS, this behavior is not active by default. It sits inside the Phone app's advanced settings and has to be switched on before flipping the device has any effect on the ringtone or vibration.
To find it, open Open the Phone app ➔ Open the menu ➔ Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Advanced ➔ Enable or disable Flip To Silence.
Once enabled, placing the phone screen-down during an incoming call cuts the ringtone and vibration immediately, without rejecting the call or sending it to voicemail.
This differs from Do Not Disturb, which silences notifications based on schedules or contacts regardless of the phone's position. Flip to Silence is a quick manual override for a single incoming call, useful in meetings or quiet rooms where reaching for the volume buttons takes too long.
If the toggle is missing or greyed out, a system update may have moved it; check the same Advanced section for a renamed option before assuming the feature was removed.
