Forward an SMS or MMS Message auf OnePlus
The Forward function in the OnePlus Messages app lets you send an existing SMS or MMS to another contact without copying text manually. It sits inside the long-press context menu, which is why many users overlook it.
Where to find Forward
Open Open the Messages app ➔ Choose a conversation ➔ Tap and hold a message ➔ Open the menu ➔ Tap on Forward ➔ Choose an existing conversation or tap on New message and follow the instructions on screen.
Once you tap Forward, the message content is attached to a fresh outgoing message. You pick the recipient the same way you would when starting any new conversation.
When this helps
Forwarding works well for confirmation codes, addresses, or shared MMS photos that a second contact needs immediately. It keeps the original formatting and attachments intact, unlike copying plain text.
If the message contains sensitive verification codes, check with the recipient before forwarding, since some services flag redistributed codes as suspicious.
