Change the Keyboard Layout auf OnePlus
OxygenOS links every keyboard language to a default layout the moment you pick your language and region during setup. That default is not always the layout you are used to, especially if a language supports several regional variants such as QWERTY, QWERTZ or AZERTY. Gboard keeps using this default until you manually add and select a different layout for the same language.
To change it, open Settings ➔ System ➔ Languages & input ➔ Virtual keyboard ➔ Gboard ➔ Languages. Tap the keyboard language you want to adjust, then swipe left or right through the available layouts for that language. Select the one you need and confirm with Done.
This only changes the layout for the language you selected. Other installed keyboard languages keep their own layout setting and need to be adjusted separately.
If typing feels wrong across all languages, not just one, the issue is usually a different setting such as autocorrect or key feedback rather than the layout itself. In that case, changing the layout will not fix the behavior.
