Mark All Messages as Read auf OnePlus
Unread counters in the Messages app build up whenever notifications arrive faster than you open them, especially after group chats stay active overnight. Tapping each conversation individually only to dismiss the badge is unnecessary, because OnePlus includes a built-in shortcut for clearing every unread marker at once.
The function lives in the overflow menu of the Messages app itself, not in a separate settings screen. Open Open the Messages app ➔ Open the menu ➔ Tap on Mark all as read to clear every unread indicator across your conversation list in a single step.
This action only removes the unread status. It does not delete any message, does not archive conversations, and does not change notification settings for future texts. If a conversation is muted or has notifications disabled, that setting stays untouched.
Use this shortcut after returning from time away from your phone, when the unread list no longer reflects what you actually need to check. If you only want to clear one specific conversation instead of all of them, a long press on that single thread gives you the same option without affecting the rest of your inbox.
