Open WiFi Network Notification auf OnePlus
OnePlus phones scan for open, unsecured WiFi networks nearby and send a notification whenever one is detected. This is meant to help you connect faster when you are away from a trusted network, but in dense areas with many public hotspots it can mean repeated alerts throughout the day.
The setting lives inside the WiFi preferences, separate from the main WiFi toggle. Turning it off does not affect your ability to manually connect to open networks. It only stops the automatic pop-up when one is found in range.
Where to find the toggle
Go to Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Wi-Fi & network ➔ Tap on Wi-Fi ➔ Tap on Wi-Fi preferences ➔ Enable or disable Open network notification.
If you travel often and rely on public hotspots, keeping the notification on can save you time. If you mostly use mobile data or a fixed home and work network, disabling it removes an unnecessary source of interruptions.
