Rename a Fingerprint auf OnePlus
OnePlus assigns fingerprints a default name such as Finger 1 or Finger 2 as soon as you enroll them under Fingerprint Unlock. With a single stored print, that label barely matters. Once you add a second or third finger for yourself, or let another household member register their own print, the plain numbering stops being useful.
Renaming an entry does not change how it unlocks the phone or which actions it triggers. It only swaps the visible label in the fingerprint list, so you can see at a glance which entry belongs to your thumb, your index finger, or someone else in the family.
To rename a print, go to Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Security & lock screen ➔ Tap on Fingerprint Unlock ➔ Enter the current pattern, PIN or password ➔ Tap on a registered fingerprint ➔ Enter a name and tap OK.
If a fingerprint keeps failing to unlock the phone, renaming will not fix that. Delete the affected entry and re-enroll the finger instead, since a fresh scan usually solves recognition problems better than adjusting its name.
