Rename a Contact Group auf OnePlus
Group labels in the OnePlus Contacts app organize contacts for calls and messages, but the name you pick during setup stays fixed until you change it manually. A typo, an outdated project name, or a label that no longer matches the people in it will not correct itself just because the group content changed.
Renaming the label does not affect the contacts stored inside it. Phone numbers, saved names, and message threads stay exactly as they were; only the label text changes across the phone.
To rename a label, go to Open the Contacts app ➔ Open the menu ➔ Choose a label/group ➔ Open the menu ➔ Tap on Rename label ➔ Enter a name and tap OK.
This option only renames the label itself. If you need to add or remove contacts from the group, that requires a separate step inside the same label view.
If the label still shows the old name in another app, such as a dialer widget, restart that app or check whether it caches contact groups separately from the main Contacts app.
