Rename SIM Card auf OnePlus
On a Dual SIM OnePlus phone, both slots normally display the carrier name pulled from the SIM card itself. If both SIM cards belong to the same provider, the network settings, call log, and messaging apps all show two entries that look identical.
OxygenOS lets you overwrite this default label with a custom name per SIM slot. The renamed label then replaces the carrier name everywhere the system shows SIM info, including the status bar, dialer, and SMS app.
To change it, open Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Wi-Fi & network ➔ Tap on SIM & network ➔ Choose a SIM card ➔ Tap on SIM name ➔ Tap on the current SIM name ➔ Enter a name and tap OK.
The new name is stored locally on the device and is not sent to your carrier, so it will not appear on your bill or on the other party's caller ID. If you swap the physical SIM card into another slot or another phone, you need to set the name again since it is tied to the slot, not the SIM chip.
This method only changes the display label. It does not affect network priority, data routing, or which SIM handles calls versus mobile data, so it will not fix issues where the wrong SIM is used for internet access.
