Share a Website via an App auf OnePlus
When you visit a page in the Chrome app on your OnePlus phone, the address bar only shows the URL - it does not offer a direct way to send that page to another app. Selecting and copying the text works, but it is easy to grab an incomplete link or lose formatting when pasting it into WhatsApp, email, or a notes app.
Chrome has a built-in sharing function that bypasses copy-paste completely. It hands the full webpage link directly to another installed app, ready to send.
How the share feature works
Open the Chrome app and load the page you want to send. Tap Open the menu, then choose Tap on Share.... Chrome shows a row of installed apps - Swipe left or right to browse the available apps until you find the one you need. Choose an app and follow the instructions on screen to finish sending the link.
This works with any app that supports Android's share sheet, including messaging apps, email clients, and note-taking tools. If the app you want is missing from the row, check whether it is installed and whether it has been opened at least once - some apps only register for sharing after their first launch.
