A jumbled contact list on OxygenOS usually comes down to one setting, not corrupted data. The Contacts app lets you choose whether entries sort by first name or last name, independent of how each contact was entered.

If you import contacts from different sources, some may have been saved last-name-first and others first-name-first. Without a fixed sort rule, the list can look inconsistent even though every entry is correct.
