Enable or Disable UltraShot HDR auf OnePlus
UltraShot HDR merges several exposures of the same scene into one photo. The goal is to keep bright skies and dark shadows visible in the same shot instead of losing detail on one end of the brightness range.
This merging takes a moment longer than a single exposure, so photos can take slightly longer to process, and in high-contrast or moving scenes the result sometimes looks unnatural or overly smoothed. Turning UltraShot HDR off returns the camera to a single exposure per shot, which is faster but can leave very bright or very dark areas without detail.
Where to find the setting
The toggle sits directly in the camera settings, not in the phone system settings. Go to Open the Camera app ➔ Open the Settings ➔ Enable or disable UltraShot HDR and switch it on or off.
If your photos already look accurate and contrast is not an issue, leaving UltraShot HDR off saves a fraction of a second per shot and produces smaller files. In backlit scenes, indoor shots against windows, or sunsets, switching it on usually gives a more balanced result.
