Uninstall an App auf OnePlus
Uninstalling an app on a OnePlus phone frees up storage and can resolve issues caused by a corrupted or outdated install. It removes the app itself along with any data stored locally on the device.
This includes chat histories, cached photos and videos, saved logins, and custom settings tied to that app. Anything not backed up to a cloud account or synced elsewhere is gone once the app is removed, so check for backups first if the app holds personal content.
How to uninstall an app
Find the app icon on your home screen or in the app drawer. Then follow this path:
Tap and hold an app ➔ Tap on Uninstall ➔ Confirm with OK
The app disappears from your device immediately after confirming. Some preinstalled system apps cannot be removed this way; those only allow disabling instead of a full uninstall.
If an app refuses to uninstall or the option is greyed out, it may be set as a device administrator or active in accessibility settings. Removing those permissions first usually unlocks the uninstall option.
