Screen Color Temperature Settings
If your Oppo screen looks too blue or too yellow compared to other devices, a display calibration setting is shifting the white balance away from neutral. This often happens after enabling Eye comfort or Dark mode, which both nudge the color temperature warmer automatically. The result is icons, photos, and videos that look off compared to how they were designed.
Turn Always-On Display On or Off
If your Oppo screen stays completely black when locked, or notifications never appear on it, the Always-On Display setting is likely involved. This feature can show time, date and battery level permanently or on a schedule, and on newer ColorOS versions also notification icons. Whether it is active, and how much it shows, depends on a toggle that is easy to overlook in the display settings.
Change Home Screen Transition Effect
Swiping between home screen pages on your Oppo phone always plays the same sliding animation, even though ColorOS ships with several other transition styles. If the default motion feels plain or you want something like a cube rotation, foil turn, card flip or tilt effect instead, the option is tucked into the home screen settings rather than the main display menu.
