Reading out a long Wi-Fi password letter by letter to a guest wastes time and often ends in a typo on their end. Realme UI can turn the password of the network your phone is currently connected to into a scannable QR code, so any other phone with a camera joins in seconds. This only works for the active connection, not for networks that are merely saved on your phone.
Reset Network Settings
When Wi-Fi keeps dropping, Bluetooth won't pair, or mobile data refuses to connect on your Realme phone, a corrupted network profile is often the cause. Resetting the network settings clears saved Wi-Fi passwords, paired Bluetooth devices, and mobile network configurations so the phone rebuilds them from scratch.
Set Daily Data Limit
If your monthly data plan disappears within a few days, uncontrolled background usage on a single day is often the cause. Realme UI only tracks a monthly limit by default, so a heavy streaming or update day can go unnoticed until the bill or plan warning arrives. A daily limit gives you an earlier checkpoint before the monthly cap is even close.

If your mobile data keeps running out before the billing cycle ends, a monthly data warning can help you catch it early. Realme only lets you configure one alert threshold, and it only fires once the mobile data limit itself is switched on. Without enabling the limit, the alert stays silent even if you enter a value for it.

Delete Access Point Names (APNs)
Old or wrongly configured APN entries on a Realme phone can block mobile data even after you fix the actual settings, since the phone might still be pointed at a broken profile. This gets especially annoying after a SIM or provider swap, when the previous carrier profile lingers in the list and confuses the new connection. Removing the outdated entry clears that conflict for good.
Turn On/Off SIM Card Lock
If your Realme phone asks for a PIN every time you restart it, SIM card lock is active in the background. Enter that PIN wrong three times in a row and the SIM locks itself completely, cutting off calls, texts and mobile data until you unlock it with a PUK. Realme UI lets you control each app's network access separately from the general Wi-Fi and mobile data toggles.
Turn Bluetooth On or Off
When your realme phone will not connect to headphones, earbuds or a speaker, Bluetooth is often still switched off in the background. The toggle can hide either in the quick settings panel or deep inside the connection settings, and a disabled radio module also blocks any pairing attempt.
Share Internet via Bluetooth from a Paired Device
If a laptop, tablet or older gadget paired with your Realme phone has no Wi-Fi option nearby, it can still get online through the Bluetooth link itself. Realme UI keeps this data-sharing permission switched off by default for every paired device, even after pairing succeeds. Without turning it on, the other device stays connected for file transfer or calls only, never for actual internet traffic.
Show or Hide Real-Time Network Speed in the Status Bar
When the status bar only shows signal bars, you have no way to tell if a stalled download is due to a slow connection or something else. Realme UI can display live upload and download speed next to the clock, but the option stays off by default on most phones.
Turn Google Location History On or Off
If Google Maps Timeline shows blank days or never remembers the places you visited, Location History is probably switched off for your Google account. If you would rather stop your Realme phone from reporting your movements to Google at all, the same setting is what you need to check. Either way, the toggle sits inside your Google account settings, not in a separate Realme menu.
Connect to a Wi-Fi Network
Downloading a system update or a large app over mobile data can eat through your monthly allowance fast, especially if your carrier caps high-speed data. Before you start a big download on your Realme phone, you want to make sure it actually uses your home or office Wi-Fi instead of cellular data. If the phone keeps falling back to mobile data, the Wi-Fi connection was likely never set up or the password was entered wrong.
Bluetooth Tethering Setup
If your laptop or tablet has no free USB port or you want to avoid draining your battery with a Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth tethering shares your Realme phone's mobile data over an existing Bluetooth pairing. Speeds are lower than a Wi-Fi hotspot, but the connection uses noticeably less power. It only works with devices you have already paired over Bluetooth.
Turn On Automatic Network Selection
If your Realme phone stopped switching networks automatically after a trip abroad or near a border region, chances are automatic network selection got switched off along the way. The phone then stays locked to whichever carrier it last connected to, even when a stronger signal from your home provider is available. This usually happens after a manual carrier search or a change made in roaming settings.
Change AP Band for Personal Hotspot
If your Realme hotspot only broadcasts on 2.4 GHz, connected devices compete with every nearby router on that frequency and transfer speeds drop. Some laptops and streaming devices need the faster 5 GHz band to reach full throughput, but the AP band setting rarely gets touched after setup. Switching bands isn't obvious inside the Personal hotspot menu on Realme UI.
Send Photos and Videos via Bluetooth
If the Bluetooth option is missing from the share menu, or a paired smart TV never shows up in the device list, transferring a photo or video from your Realme phone stalls before it even starts. This usually comes down to how the Gallery app builds its share list and whether the receiving device is currently discoverable. Range and pairing status also affect which devices actually appear as available.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Scanning for Location Accuracy
If your Realme phone still detects nearby Wi-Fi networks or Bluetooth devices after you switch both radios off, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning is running in the background. This system function lets apps and location services use nearby networks and devices to sharpen your position, independent of the actual Wi-Fi or Bluetooth toggle. That extra accuracy comes with a trade-off in battery use and background access for apps you may not want scanning at all.
Set a Data Limit for the Personal Hotspot
If mobile data runs out fast whenever devices share your Realme hotspot, no restriction is currently in place. Realme UI lets you cap the exact amount of data the personal hotspot can pass through before it shuts off on its own. Without that limit, laptops or tablets connected to your phone can quietly burn through your plan.
Set Default SIM Card for Calls
Every outgoing call on a dual-SIM Realme phone triggers a prompt asking which SIM to use, and that gets tiring fast. This happens because the calling preference is still set to 'Always ask' instead of a fixed line. Locking in one default SIM removes that extra tap before every call.

If weather widgets, maps or navigation apps suddenly stop finding your position on your Realme phone, the Location service is often switched off without you realizing it. A GPS signal that keeps searching in the background can also drain the battery faster than normal. Whether Location is on or off decides which apps can even request your current position.

When two SIM cards on a Realme phone belong to the same carrier, both slots show the same label in call logs and data settings. That makes it hard to tell at a glance which SIM you are actually using for calls or mobile data.
Auto-Connect to the Best Wi-Fi Network
If your Realme phone clings to a weak or slow Wi-Fi network even though a stronger one is available nearby, the Wi-Fi Assistant feature is likely switched off. This tool compares stored networks in range and automatically picks the strongest signal, but only when enabled. Without it, you have to switch networks manually every time you move between rooms or floors.
Unpair a Bluetooth Device
If a Bluetooth accessory like a headset, tablet or another phone still shows up as paired even though you no longer use it, the connection stays active in the background on your Realme phone. Old pairings can block new connections or keep permissions alive that you actually want to revoke. Removing the pairing clears these saved settings completely.
