Long-press for Symbols: Enable or Disable
If holding down a key on your Realme keyboard does not show an alternative symbol, or if extra characters pop up when you do not want them, the long-press setting for hidden symbols is likely set the wrong way. This option decides whether hinted characters on Gboard become reachable through a press-and-hold gesture.
Change Keyboard Theme
The stock keyboard on your Realme phone often stays locked in a plain gray layout, even though Gboard hides colored themes, gradients and photo backgrounds underneath. If you never opened the theme picker, every app you type in shows the same dull default look.
Change Keyboard Height
If the Gboard keyboard suddenly feels cramped or oversized after turning on the extra number row, typing accuracy drops fast. Keys sit closer together and thumb typing gets error-prone on smaller screens. Adjusting the keyboard height fixes the layout without turning that number row back off.
Set Default Keyboard Language
If you added several keyboard languages on your Realme phone, the wrong one often shows up first when you tap into a text field. Gboard always loads whichever language sits at the top of your saved list, so you end up swiping through languages every time you type. Reordering that list is what actually decides which language appears by default.
Turn On/Off Number Row
Typing a password or address on your Realme phone often means switching back and forth to the number pad just for a single digit. That extra tap slows down every message with dates, codes or amounts. A hidden Gboard setting adds a permanent row of digits above the letters so you never leave the main keyboard layout.
