Change Sound Mode: Ringing, Vibrate or Silent

Realme UI controls this through „Optimized Standby“, which offers three modes — Ultra standby mode, Balanced mode, and Off — that decide how strictly apps get closed once the screen turns off.
Show or Hide Next-word Suggestions
On Realme phones, Gboard can predict a whole word before you finish typing it, and that guess is not always the one you meant. This happens when Next-word suggestions sits on top of the regular word suggestion bar, using your typing history to fill in what comes next. Switching the feature off stops the keyboard from auto-filling words based on patterns you have typed before.
Change Screenshot Preview Position
On many Realme phones, the screenshot preview pops up in a small window on the left edge of the screen right after you capture it. If that spot overlaps app controls you actually need, like a back-swipe zone or a chat's send button, the preview gets in the way. Realme UI lets you switch this floating window to the opposite side instead of leaving it fixed on the left.
Enable or Disable Keyboard Click Sounds
If every keystroke on your Realme keyboard produces an audible click, it usually comes from a Gboard sound setting tied to your device volume. This gets distracting fast in quiet rooms, meetings, or during calls, and many users only want to lower the volume rather than mute it entirely.
Change Video Resolution and Frame Rate
Recorded clips come out blurry, oversized, or choppy because the camera app is still set to a resolution or frame rate that does not fit what you actually need. On Realme phones this option sits in its own settings screen inside the camera app, separate from the photo settings, which is why many people never find it. Picking the wrong combination of resolution and FPS also explains why some videos take up far more storage than expected.
Change Notification Volume Separately
If notification sounds feel too loud or too quiet compared to your ringtone, turning the ringer or media slider does nothing to fix it. Realme UI treats notifications, incoming texts, and app alerts as their own volume category, independent from calls, music, and alarms.
Change Alarm Volume
If your alarm barely wakes you up or suddenly blasts at full volume, the ringtone or media slider is not the setting responsible. Realme UI gives alarms their own independent volume control that has nothing to do with call or notification sound. Once that slider sits at the wrong level, no amount of adjusting media volume will fix it.
